What this calendar is, where its listings come from, and how to make it yours.
What is this?
A free calendar of what’s on nearby: concerts, home games, theatre, festivals, films and local nights, gathered in one list from the venues and teams themselves. It is one of the here.events sites; here.events has the map of every city.
Where do the listings come from?
From each venue’s own calendar and its ticket seller (Ticketmaster and others), plus the leagues’ schedules for the home teams. Sources, at the foot of the calendar, names them. Every listing links to the venue’s or the seller’s page.
How fresh is it?
The whole list is rebuilt once a day, around noon local time. Game times a league may still move are flagged, and plans do change — check the venue’s page before you go.
Can I buy tickets here?
No. This site sells nothing; each listing links to the place that does. “Sold out” and “Nearly sold out” marks are read from the sellers’ pages and can lag behind them.
How do I put these events in my own calendar?
Press Add To My Calendar at the top of the calendar. It subscribes Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook to the list, and the subscription keeps itself up to date.
Can I see only what I care about?
Yes. Filter hides venues, kinds of event and teams; the calendar remembers your choice on this device. Search narrows the list by any word. To pass a filtered view to someone else, use Copy Filter Link under Embed — the link opens with your exact filter.
What are List, Month, Teams and Map?
Four ways to read the same events: List, day by day; Month, a calendar grid; Teams, the home clubs’ schedules, results and odds; Map, every venue where it stands, sized by how much is coming up — tap a venue, or a group of them, for its next events.
A listing is wrong or a venue is missing. Who do I tell?
Us, please — through Ghostwood Sites. Say which listing or venue, and we will fix the source it came from.
Can I show these events on my own site?
Yes: Embed, at the foot of the calendar, has a two-line widget and the raw data feeds, free to use.
Do you track me?
Only as far as counting visits: the site uses Google Analytics to see which pages and cities are read. There are no accounts and no ads that follow you; your filters and theme stay on your own device.
